Third edition
Sowing Seeds of change
Regional Workshop 2021
The third edition of the First Nations Comprehensive Community Planning Regional Workshop was held online from February 10 to 12, 2021. It was such an honour to bring together over 70 participants for this first virtual gathering!
Twenty First Nations were represented, including visitors from as far away as the territories of the Haida and Gitxsan Nations (to the west) and the Unama’ki and Ktaqmkuk districts of the Mi’gmaq/Mi’kmaq Nation (to the east).

The theme of this 3rd edition was “Sowing seeds of change”. What strengths already exist in the community and what preparations can we make to lay the groundwork for the future? What seeds do we need to sow today so that future generations can harvest the fruits? What is our vision for a collective future?
The stories, experiences and resources shared showcase the immense planning expertise of First Nations, which has been growing since time immemorial. Happy reading!
