Welcome to the virtual space in

INDIGENOUS PLANNING

Here, you’ll find a circle where we support each other, inspiring community planning stories and tools, and rooting practices.

Here, we gather to create the future, together.

NIKAN SKÁTNE –
CREATING THE FUTURE TOGETHER

The name and visuals of this virtual space pay tribute to the Indigenous planning traditions that have been practiced in our region since time immemorial. Discover the logo designed by Terry Randy Awashish, expressed in 10 languages of the territory.

Indigenous planning means allowing ourselves to dream about the future and choosing together what's important. Join us to hear the stories of our region's First Nations.

Community planning is an opportunity to deepen our roots, to remember who we are, to renew our relationships with the land, with ourselves, and with others.

Community planning is an inspiring...and demanding experience. Sometimes, we need to help each other and learn from the experience of others in the circle.
